No person in possession should be dispossessed without following due course of law – if it is a patta land purchased by the petitioner in accordance with law, the respondents wants to take that land for other purpose, they have to initiate land acquisition proceedings by following due process of law. Secondly, if it is assigned land, and at present, if it is in the possession of the third parties, at this stage also the respondents have to initiate proceedings under A.P. Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Lands) Act, 1977, by invoking Section 3 made there under by issuing Form-I and Form-II notices to the original assignee and the present occupier.
